Has anyone tried this??? Put a deep etch on the WI then sweat a thin coat of braze on the guard, re-sand and re-etch. I think it should leave silver streaks in it??? (I know it scary me thinking again  )I got to try it to see what it looks like.

Getting the silver down in the pits might be a trick. Maybe a dunk in some strong acid , then in some washing soda beforehand might work. You could also just use a good burr in a dremel to make a nice pattern in the WI and then do the coating. Let us know how it turns out. you old buzzard

If you two were any harder on each other I would think you were married! To each other yet!
