Wrought Iron Finishes

I've seen a fair amount of postings regarding less than stellar to outright poor results finishing up wrought iron fittings. If some might post their favorite methods it might be helpful to others.I guess my own personal question would be, how many use a wax base finish in the end? Thanks for any input. Paul Savage

I use strong ferric chloride on WI.

I use a 'hard-wax' finish. Nothing fancy.
