Nice work. Can't see the head clearly- did you etch it to produce "grain" in the wrought?
I started a hawk from a 1" bar of wrought. Was going to use some file for the edge. Burned it up in a coal forge I wasn't used to. lol.

I did etch to try and bring out the pattern
a bit i used very weak solution of nitric acid ,
