Here is a traditional "wrap & weld" trade axe forged from wrought iron with a piece of 1060 HC steel for the cutting bit..It has a forge finish..The cutting edge is 3 1/2" wide..The head is 5 3/8" long overall..The haft is nice Ash..Lightly burned, stained and then sealed with boiled linseed oil..
