Here is an 8" blade bowie... Arkansas Toothpick?... with wrought iron/W2 butt-weld construction. Wagon wheel wrought iron was forge welded to the spine of the W2 and then drawn out length-wise. The blade was then clay quenched for a hamon. The natural patterning of the slaggy wrought was brought out with a long, slow etch in ferric chloride which also brought out the hamon. The copper s-guard features 'battle scar' filework. The wood is claro walnut with a morticed, hidden tang construction and the domed copper pins are riveted through the tang for a bomb-proof handle. The spine is 3/16" at the guard with a nice distal taper making for wicked, well balanced blade. The knife feels incredible in the hand....

I can provide more pictures upon request.

I'm asking $425 shipped. I take Paypal at scott@bigrockforge.com. Money returned in 1 week if dissatisfied and the knife is in it's original condition.

I have a couple of different sheath options according to what you would like to spend. PM me for more information.

I've decided this knife will include sheath in the price. Either custom work from Bob Schrap, Lance Parrish (www.southpawleatherworks.com), or John Cohea according to your style preference.

Also stay tuned for an updated photo as I've decided to work on the handle some more.
