I'm going to make some nice wrought iron available here.
I'm amazed at the prices some people get for it. I've seen just individual chain links for $60.00!
Anyway, I was lucky to have acquired a nice collection of wrought iron last year in a nice selection of sizes. I have quite a few very happy clients on some other forums, and they are turning out some really nice stuff with this iron.
I cut the pieces approx. 12" long to put them in Post Office flat rate boxes. Into these cardboard boxes I build a wooden box to accomodate the iron. I've been complimented on the delivery system.
I sell 25-30 pounds of iron for $57.70. 50-60 pounds for $100.00 even. These prices include the shipping cost.
This iron is 1903 vintage.
I have 3/4", and 1" round.
3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" square.
1/2" X 3, 3/4" X 3, and even 7/8" X 4 flat.
Any combination is fine with me.
Sizes and weights can not be exact!
The actual shipping weight will vary a little depending on the sizes you order.
This is nice clean stuff with amazing grain.
Etches nicely and I like to blue it.
I will sell this stuff until my pile gets down to what I think I will keep for myself.
Let me know!
I have Paypal on my web site, www.andersenforge.com.

Hi Karl,

I am interested in the 1 inch rounds. 25 to 30 lbs. Send me a paypal request for the 57.50 and I will get that out to you.
Thanks Fred

Interested in 25-30lbs. of 1" round & 1" square (leaning towards more round than square). Send me a PayPal request and I'll get $$ off to you.

Thanks,

I can't believe I was able to supply as many makers as I have! I think that's fantastic.
I not only advertised here, but a few other forums as well.
The bad news is, that as large as my supply is, a few of the dimensions are almost gone. I have some of the 1/2" and 3/4" X 3 flat, and some of the square stock.
The round stuff is almost gone.
Get some while you can.

That package came in this morning, Karl. Nice material. You have the packing down pat.

This is really clean wrought iron folks. Well worth what Karl is charging.

The round iron is just about gone. There will be no more for sale.
I still have a selection of 1" and 1 1/8", a little 1 1/4" square. Forges up very nicely.
The 1" thick X 4 inch flat is gone. I'm keeping the rest for myself.
I still have a few orders of the 3/4" X 3 inch, maybe 7/8" X 3 inch flat.
