Here is a laminated blade with wrought iron over 15n20 with a 1084 core. It has a WSSI stabilized redwood burl handle and a cold blued mild steel guard. The top edge is not sharp.
There is a small welding flaw on the right side of the knife near the plunge cut. I wasn't real happy when I found it, but decided to finish the knife out and sell it at a discount. You can see it in the pictures. The blade is hand rubbed to 2000 grit and then etched. The layer of 15n20 between the wrought and 1084 is something I had wanted to try, and I like the look. The redwood burl had some checking that I filled with CA glue. Comes with leather sheath pictured.
If you can overlook the welding flaw, it is a good chance to own a forged fighter for a fraction of the price.
Specs:
Steel- wrought over 15n20 over 1084 core
OAL- 10.5"
Guard to Tip- 5 5/8"
Height- 1 1/8"
Spine Thickness- 7/32" at ricasso with distal taper
Price $OLD shipped conus
Thanks for looking.
