WS&S Chat times 8:30 Sun and Tues Nights

Good stuff! I like the lean-to + reflector. I'm actually gonna be making another one of these as my shelter on my next outing, still deciding which type of reflector to build, so this is a useful thread!

Yea. We need something other than Chatzy, I think. It has been doing this a lot recently.

that's the web interface to the freenode irc network.

irc has been around since the 80s, it's to original text based chat system. you can download irc clients for any type of computer, so you don't have to stay with the web interface.

useful commands:

/join #w&ss
(our room)

/msg nickserv help
(nickserv lets you register your nickname, if it's not already taken)

Joe says we can give this a shot. I've been on freenode since the first year :D
 
the channel on that network is permanent.

the chat times are a convenience :)


if anyone wants to do this and doesn't want to be tied to the web browser, search for irc clients and download one you like. I don't use windows and don't really know what's available for it :D
 
Is there a chat tonight? Don't want to show up late like last time because of BF being down :)
