Or maybe I am just clueless!

Okay, I have been hanging around here for quite a while. I lurked for a long time before really starting to post much. I have seen mtnfolk mike comment on leather and stuff, but I had no idea he could do such nice work. You guys must have been hording him for yourself! :D

I switched over this year to a recurve bow after years of using a compound. Well, I needed a quiver. Enter Mike's leatherwork.

I REALLY like the use of leather for the strap adjusters. IMO, it is a very nice touch as opposed to doing it with snaps or something else non-traditional looking.

Back side:

Also, there are slots both front and back so that the strapped can be changed, and worn in the other direction.

The bottom:

You can see there is a "shelf" in here to hold the tight fitting bottom. It stays in great, but is made to be removable so it can be replaced, if necessary. Nice touch.

As a bonus, I got a pouch too.

I really like the retention system.

Thanks Mike! I really love this setup. I am heading out this weekend for the first time with the recurve, so I am glad that I got this in time.

Nice score Briangandrews.

He also does some really nice sheaths, that I don't often hear mentioned here.

That is a super-cool setup, very classy and handsome. Love the pouch and the extras! Gotta get me one of them sporks. :D

That really is good looking stuff. Makes me want to take up archery just to justify getting some (oops......now, now, now - must respect the need to procure skills first...)
