Not really, never really cared for it. Besides, Mark is already doing one.
 
I've tried to like the blade configuration but it just doesn't do it for me. I know on other forums it has an almost cult like following who swear the design will do anything. Your interpretation looks as good as any I've seen. I'm guessing it will require more complex grinding than a normal blade which will need to be reflected in the price. Personally I think John's Knatchet is a better design.
