WSS: Bushcraft Knife Challenge Gallery.

I can definitely tell my brother from another mother,Geno, made that hunk of steel. I can't wait for you to get back to Texas so we can start crankin' out some metal madness....and general debauchery.

I also have a medium Nessie design I ground out of some crappy 303 stainless that I need to send you.........I figure you could use it for a template,Geno.;)

You got it Bro, anything you need man, you know that. Ahh, Tehas...home sweet home...I miss yah bad!

Thanks Mike, I like to play rough..so I went with it, but actually, it was a strange set of events that led to the knife being that thick..long story short, it was supposed to be 3/16th, and I grabbed the wrong bar when heading to the shop..which is 40 minutes from home..so I said, the heck with it!:D

You've got to love those Turley knives!

Great pictures Mike!

Love the lines of that Turley Green River. And love the pommel plate even more, as I've been known to beat on my handle when I shouldn't!

Really good pics of Iz's knife. Did not know that he tri-layered that handled. Gave in some depth. Looks really good. Almost like half a sandwich spacer.

Love all the knives so far! Big mike are there hairs on the blade in the turley pics?

Jason

Yes my friend, there is a dog hair visable in two of the photos,

...by the time I spotted it the knife was out of my hands. :o

The Turley blade is a stout workhorse.

Big Mike

I should say, I got a chance to handle Rick's knife and the Culberson knife at our camp out...and man oH man...those are some SWEET knives.
I have never seen anything like Rick's knife..its a work of art. And I am not going overboard with that statement IMO. I LOVED the handle, perfection....:thumbup:
