The buckle would be a ordinary looking rectangle with a built-in T-blade.

Be sure to check out your state's laws re buckly knives. They're flat illegal in some states. Also, they're pretty tricky when you wear overhalls.

You may want to take a look at the Valois belt knives. IMO, they offer two major advantages over their competition: the belt stays closed when the knife is withdrawn & an actual kydex sheath is built into the belt -- the blade does not simply sit between layers of leather with no protection for the stitching.
