I'm looking for an old mechanical power hammer to replace my homebuilt airhammer. Must be at least 100 lbs. I'd prefer a Bradley but I'd probably take anything. I don't have a lot of money saved up yet, but I figure it doesn't hurt to start searching. :D

Thanks,
Phillip

Now your talkin, Phillip.

Go to I Forge Iron . com, look under Power Hammers. Think there might be a few in you neck of the woods.

I did check out that place yesterday, but I looked again and found one or two that look promising, so, thanks for the suggestion!

If that doesn't work out, I know where I can get a couple good ones for free. The only problem is getting them out of your shop without getting caught. :D

Be kind of tough to sneak one of mine out of the shop, then out of the valley :D

You saw the guy on Iforgeiron that had 4 or 5 for sale?

If you run across a 100 lb Little Giant, grab it, you wont be sorry.

Yeah, I'm not sure my truck would survive the long drive out of there, even without a load... :)

Yes, I'm very interested in those Bradley helve hammers. I saw Kevin Cashen's hammer, and it looks tough.

I'm sure Little Giants are good hammers, but they tend to be out of my price range.
