WTC / Pentagon Steel

Who here can arrange to save some of the steel from The World Trade Center and/or The Pentagon to be made into special knife blades? Wood could also be used.

I had this thought, when I was watching TV yesterday.

laminated blades, outside steel being that from these buildings, inside core being something of better quality.
all funds going to help rescue operations.

I was told by someone that using the metal from these buildings to make the weapons that the terrorists used would be disgreaceful and a vile thing to do.

However, i disagree, I think it should be a message that no matter how evil another person our group of peopel can get, america can respond with something of beauty.

Just getting the steel that would be hard...

Use the building's wreckage to make weapons the terrorists used? How about using the metal to make weapons to use against the terrorists?

Chuck's knife idea works for me. IMHO, money will be more versatile than quality weapon. It works not only to fight the enemy, but also to help people killed or injured there.
