WTF is LE????????

LE means it is a finish/handle combination that will never be offered again. LE is also the only way to go if you want the thicker steel or satin finish. They receive a little extra loving in finish as well as one might imagine. Finish on CG blades I have been receiving is TOP notch anyway IMO.

Definition of limited edition - an edition that is restricted to a specific number of copies.:D

A HH, HOGFSH or every other special Busse model arrant called L.E. so 'a finish/handle combination that will never be offered again' or a 'thicker steel or satin finish' does not comply here.;)

My definition is how Jerry defined LE's as the new line has rolled out. With the thickness and satin finish just being obvious differences from the rest of the line. Trust me. Jerry is the man... dictionary definitions need not apply. In the end an LE is limited in number, that number just has not been defined until the orders stop coming in.

Limited runs can be confused with Limited Editions as well. The Ruck Kensei for example is a limited run but there are far fewer of them than HOGFSHLE's out there. Same goes for the Game Wardens... limited runs, but to confuse things further there is even an LE among them:eek:. Jerry has been making a LOT of great limited runs lately. It is a great time to be a Busse fanatic.

It just seems that they are not that limited. They will not be exclusive and special but more bulk knives. IMO.
I would like if they only made small (sub 500) run.
No doubt that it will be a great knife the FBM LE, but lets get it.

Cheers,

André

Jump in and get one remeber; NO REGRETs, except for the ones you let get away.:D :D :D :D :D

Ehhh ok, let's change the dictionary defintion then to 'LE means a limited number, that just has not been defined until the orders stop coming in' :D

The only one the number means anything on is the first one, or if you have a specific number request

:D:D

Numbers of significance.....as far as I can tell anyway!!

#1 - always one that everyone wants
#13 - the infamous number
#100, #200, #300...etc. They always seem to draw more attention.
#111, #222, #333, etc.
#69 - :D
#68 - cuz I owe you one
#last number.

Out of all these #1, #last and #13 are the most desireable IMO
Bu in the end who really cares, they are all the same.

Personally I was shooting for one of the highest numbered ones....since didn't order one till right before the end of the year.

I prefer #77 because compared to #69 you get 8 more. :foot:

Yeah, but you don't have to tell everyone ;)
