I meant Blast but I bet you are right. I'm not sure what it is for sure. I think people see it as a pair of pliers when I first open it and then see the saw, screw drivers, etc... Strange but that's been my experience. :o

I'm from WNY as well. Cities here, people freak out if they see you with a gun.... When I lived in the sticks, I'd sit on my porch with a 12 gauge, a 12 pack, a box of smokes and a brick of ammo. Cops would wave at me, and the pizza guy wouldn't look twice.

You should probably consider the location of where you were at the time when you used the knife, the knife size, and the task you used it for. If you were in the quartermaster's storage or the kitchen, no one would at you twice. But if you were in say, the pencil pusher's cubicles, you might get some strange looks. The age old addage "The right tool for the job" applies here too. If it was just a thread, then a pair of sissors or a box cutter may be a better choice then a Junglas, even though the Junglas is so much cooler. Finally, bear in mind that some people, especially in urban cities, are not used to knives and may be a bit leery of them. Try explaining that it's just a tool and nothing to get worked up about.

i think that if we allow people to believe that we care what they think, then they will believe that they are entitled to an opinion that we should all obey. before you know it, we will all be cutting things with finger nail clippers!!!
