Wtf with paypal? again

Yesterday I had a really nice deal cancelled because of seller wasnt premium paypal member (1) and my account is credit card type (2) so he couldn't receive my money.
I guess I need some quick education - what is (1) and (2) and how to deal with in in future.

Only the basic service is free so PP wants all to be premium members (not free).

If you paid previous sellers using a credit card, they either had a "premier" or "business" account. The "basic" account is a good way to go for anyone with monthly transactions below $500.

The fact that you're paying with a credit card makes you not a commie doesn't it? Unless of course the credit card is through a state owned bank.

I had to go premier because you only get 5 cc payments a year. IIRC, all I had to do was click a couple buttons. Already had my cc# on file, but I don't ever plan on giving them access to a cash account.
