I did a deal with Terry, a.k.a. "wtlj" over the weekend, and felt the need to post here about my experience.

He is truly.... a top grade member of this forum! Found out quickly that he lives only about 20 minutes from me, so we met facet to face to complete the transaction and chatted about our hobbies for a little while. In a state like Illinois, where dirty politicians, harsh restrictions and big government power are the norm, it's awesome to meet like-minded individuals who share your interests and love for sharp, shiny, pointy things and things that go BOOM!

Thanks for an outstanding and incredibly simple transaction Terry and looking forward to hitting the shooting range!

Have no fear of dealing with Terry, there are no members here with more class.
 
Could not agree more. With all the bashing threads around, its refreshing to see this. Although we have never met, he has offered me help in a rough time. If wtlj ever needed anything, I would go well out of the way for him.

He's a genuinely great guy and sets an amazing example on the forum. I've done countless deals with him and hope to do countless more.

^ I agree, there have been quite a few very refreshing thread's involving wtlj...

My only beef: I'm a LA King's fan. I keep seeing that Blackhawks logo, all over this forum! It's shaping up to be another exciting post season, in the NHL! :thumbup:
 
I've still got some of the early emails between wtlj and myself. Over the last couple of years, I've had the pleasure of having him as my friend. He goes above and beyond to ensure folks are completely satisfied with their dealings with him. Terry does a lot of behind the scenes work that makes it worth dealing with him. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I had a "want to buy" thread and wtlj offered what I was looking for at a great price.
We exchanged texts and I paid at around 5:30 PM Eastern and he shipped the same evening.
Knife arrived in excellent shape 2 days later.
One of the best experiences I've had on the Exchange.
