WTS: New Kephardt

This is Andy’s description of this knife:

2013 1115 016 – Kephart, Arizona Desert Ironwood over black g10 with a white g10 pinstripe, SFT Tang, Convex on 1/8” thick 3D Spalted 01 steel

I bought this knife from Andy last November. It is new, never used, sharpened, stropped, or carried. The dimensions are; 4” blade, 4-3/4” handle, & 8-3/4” OAL. The only difference from Andy’s description above is that the G10 pinstripe is lime green instead of white (see my photos below.) No sheath with this knife.

The link to the Fiddleback Friday 11-15-13 batch is here if you want to see Andy’s pictures also:

WTS: Used Bushfinger

This was my 1st Fiddleback and it started me down the slippery slope of buying more. I can see why this model is one of Andy’s flagship designs. I got this one in trade last year. I am the 3rd owner.

It is 5/32” O-1, full tang, with maroon linen micarta over natural micarta and an orange G10 pinstripe. The dimensions are; 4” blade, 4-3/4” handle, & 8-3/4” OAL.

It is originally from this batch in 2012:

When I received the knife, it had some cosmetic scratches on the blade and it was a little dull. I used some 1000 W & D on a block to remove the scratches and re-establish the grind lines. I also put a nice edge on it. That is the condition now (as seen in the photos.)

The knife comes with the sheath pictured. I am not sure of the maker. It is a universal design meaning it can be worn either right or left-handed. The quality is fine, but the retention is looser than I like. I would add some moleskin to the inside to increase retention if I was going to hike over rough terrain with this rig.

WTS: New Fletcher Delta 5

I purchased this knife new year from USA Made Blades. It is Serial# 4 of this model. It is new, never used, sharpened, stropped, or carried.

It is from Dylan’s 08-05-2013 batch. Here is the link if you want to look at his pictures:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...hotos-of-the-stuff-finished-this-past-weekend

This knife is 5/32” O-1 steel with a high convex grind. The handles are green canvas micarta with black canvas micarta pins. The dimensions are; 5” blade, 4-3/4” handle, & 9-3/4” OAL. No sheath with this knife.

If you are a serious nitpicker, I want to point out one tiny flaw that may or may not matter to you. There a few dark spots on the right side of the blade to the left of the logo. I suspect that some residue of the electro-chemical etch solution from applying the logo got on there and did not get neutralized in time. I consider this pretty minor for what should be a hard use knife, but full disclosure is always a good idea. Note: The tiny black spot are visible on Dylan’s photos too.

Price: $155 shipped CONUS. USPS Money Order preferred. Personal check OK if I have dealt with you before or you don’t mind waiting until it clears before shipping. Cash is always OK if you are local. NO PAYPAL!
