Hi Bravado, The LuxIII Tower Module is designed to work with Surefire tubo head setups. For example a KT1/2, an SRTH, or a T3. They also work in the M3T, M4 & M6 but don't cool as well. Here is a great quote about the Tower Module:
by Led Zeplin on Candlepowerforums; The tower modules are a drop-in LED replacement unit for the incandescent bulbs in Surefire Turbo Heads (SFTH, KT1, KT2, etc.). Arcmania TMs can run off 7.4 - 16 volts with a SD (Super Down buck converter) delivering 900 -1000 mA to the emitter.

The majority were Lux Vs, which had good throw and great spill, but there were a few Lux IIIs like this one which probably have intense throw. The module itself was hand machined in Japan by Kato, who also machined the original KI (single CR2) series of Arcmania lights.

They originally sold for $175 and up, so this is a great deal. This is one of the latest ones that has a gold plated spring.

The turbo heads go right on 6P & 9P bodies and also when purchased new come with an N1 (6P) or N2 (N2). Here's an example of a KT1/2

Man, that Lux III Tower Module is such a bargain! I paid so much more for mines! Folks, this is such an awesome upgrade for the SFTH.
