I have seven balis for sale, some I have had since the early 80s, others are recently acquired. I am by no means an expert on these knives but will answer questions to the best of my ability. If you have a specific area of concern let me know and I'll take the best close up / detailed photo I can of the area you'd like to see. I have made no attempts to clean up or polish any of the knives. PLEASE NOTE: The "line" on the top Manila Folder was dust, it's no longer there and not a defect of any kind.
First knife is what I understand to be a FHM. There are no markings and I have no idea how old it may be. I acquired it very recently.
Top knife is a Valor Mandarin which is an early 80s knife marked "Valor, Seki Japan" and "440 Stainless, 663 Japan." Bottom knife is a PCC copy with one piece SS handles and hidden pins marked "Jaguar" and "Stainless, China."
Next are my Manila Folders. First one is marked "Taylor/Seto, Surgical Japan" and "G-972." Next one is marked "440 Stainless, Japan."
Next are some early 80s Original Balisongs imported by Gutmann Cutlery. Both are marked "Original Balisong" on the blade and "Hand Forced, Philippines." I have the original box and sheath for one of them marked "Round Bark Chico Wood Handle" and "Item No. 11-523."
Looking to sell the entire collection for $475.00 plus shipping. Not interested in selling any of them individually. Will consider trading towards Pacific Cutlery Company balisongs, production or custom, combined with cash depending upon what you have.
