Well I hate to sell as it took me about 15 years of looking to find a Beaudry this nice. Need the $ to finish some major house projects, and I just dont see myself getting to set this hammer up soon....so its for sale-

This hammer is a factory mechanical clutch model, and is in excellent original, unmolested condition. It was originally sold to American Bridge Company in Pittsburgh PA. I purchased it from the man who took it out of American Bridge when they closed down. This was there "tool room" hammer as they had some seriously big A frame hammers in the manufacture line for actual production work. My guess was this Beaudry was used for making jack/chisel points as evidenced by 2 sets of the dies.

Any how, everything moves freely, there is full adjustment still remaining in the guide plate. The hammer has no cracks, chips, odd wear patterns or any other signs of hard/misuse or abuse. Its the best condition hammer I have come across in 15 years of looking for them. The hammer is currently under my garage roof, so its not been out in the weather (when it was "out" it was double tarped).

Here is what you get-
Beaudry #7, original excellent condition with original 7.5 hp motor
New, spare 7.5 hp motor
rebuild bushings (look to be bronze with graphite contact points)
3 sets of dies, 2 are modified for jack points, 1 are an excellent + condition set of combo's.
Cut off, fuller, and other tooling (NOT SHOWN IN PICS)
Spring tension wrench.

Price is $5500 loaded on your trailer, FIRM, I have more then this in the hammer.
Feel free to contact me with any questions, 2-0-5- 2-6-6- 7-7-1-9
THANKS!

Folks, this is a hammer.A real hammer.A friend runs one in his indutrial blacksmiths shop..If I had the room Id be all over it in a heartbeat. One day with a new shop I will...I dont want to spam up RMLameys for sale thread but i just wanted to say how nice these hammers are...Man, super hammer at a awsome price..

yeah they are the best of the mechanicals and many of the old timers I have talked to over the years prefer them to even the air hammers. Much more precise control, power and service life then most mechanicals.

It wouldnt be for sale at all, but I really need to wrap some house modifications up etc....

That's a steel (no pun intended). If I did not already have a hammer I would buy this . Beautiful! They don't build them like that anymore.

If only I lived in the states. Im tipping transfers and shipping to me would be about 15k. Awesome hammer.

have several serious inquiries already, im guessing by tommorow I will have a firm commitment...
