This one has never been carried, never cut anything, and never been sharpened. I have taken the knife apart and dyed the scales. I attempted to dye the scales all black with black RIT dye but it turned out blue & black. I am not sure how you get blue from dying the gray portion of the scales with black dye. 
The knife is in mint condition, there is no blade play in any direction, action is buttery smooth, the blade is nicely centered, and the blade appears nice and sharp just running it across my thumb
