Received this brand new in box today directly from my favorite retailer. Yes, I can return it but I'm going to lose less money moving it along here for retail price than I would sending it back with a restocking fee. Opened the package and held it in my hand but immediately realized the handle is way too slim for my hands. Beautiful knife, just not for me. Blade is fresh, only flipped open a couple times when I opened the box. Has not cut.
SHF God & Country Edition | SV: $480
Big fan of the anodizing Spartan Blades puts on their special editions of the SHF. This knife has been pocketed twice and used to open a couple envelopes. I did strop the edge when I first opened the knife because it wasn't laser-sharp. Otherwise, nothing noteworthy here. I am the original owner and there is no damage to this knife at all. Action is nearly drop shutty already. I imagine with a little more wear in and perhaps a tune-up it would be.
CRK Large Inkosi PJ S45VN DP | SV: $395 WITHDRAWN
I keep trying to decide what CRK I want to hold on permanently and I just can't decide. This was a very recent pick up. DOB is 9/15/21. Been pocketed a few times and used to open some envelopes and a package. It has the original edge. Smooth action out of the box. Centering and lockup as expected of a CRK. Grease and Loctite packets are still closed -- I have not cleaned out or added any lube to the washers/pivot area so far and the action is hydraulic, more like a Sebenza. The only other thing to note is there is a small amount of wear on the clip. I circled it in the album to draw your attention to it.
