Okay, people. I have decided to consolidate my defense kit for the sake of redundancy, and will be staying with the 9mm round. As a result, I have for sale (or trade) a historic piece of Boresight Solutions work. (http://www.boresightsolutions.com)
Below is the first Glock 21sf Ben Simonson ever worked on. I'm the first owner, and Ben's home was the first place it ever stopped after it fired a few test rounds the day I bought it. He first completed a basic reduction on the gun, as seen below:
Then, after Ben perfected his extreme reduction package, he got this baby back, and here is how it looks now:
It is an AMAZING .45. Recoil is sweet; pushes backward toward your chest--virtually no muzzle flip. On top of that, it has about 800 rounds through it and has never even THOUGHT about any sort of failure. In typical Glock fashion, this thing has been flawless.
It has yellow/green Meprolights installed (about 1 year old), and will come with the box, and brush, and 6(six) 13rnd high-cap magazines.
I really do love this gun, but being that I have no interest in collecting, it makes more sense for me to only have one caliber in terms of handguns. Thus, I am letting it go--hopefully to someone who can appreciate the breadth, and meticulousness of Ben's fantastic work.
It is the extreme redux, with a 1911 grip angle, a molded magwell (instead of the butt-hole), Glove bevel, medium texturing, thinned grip, and removed hump. That's all I can think of for now. I have the same job on my 19, and I won't own ANY Glock without having Ben work on it. I'll put his work up against anyone else in the industry.
I think 700$ is a fair asking price for the package. (FTF within 50 miles of 33012 with a valid CCW and photocopy) Add 30$ for shipping to your FFL.
570$ for the gun
75$ for the sights
22$ apiece for the extra mags
well over 200$ worth of work.
If you think this price is unreasonable, please feel free to get in touch so we can talk about it.
I am also willing to take a Glock 19 in trade, however, understand that whatever Glock I get will be going to Ben for the same treatment, so I'll need cash to even things up.
If you have a BSSed G19 with a similar treatment, I would definitely be willing to talk.
