Hi all. Just picked up my Gold Membership and want to offer uo some fine INFI for sale. All prices include shipping via USPS Priority Mail with insurance.
First I have a Busse NO-E. The sheath is the OD green Busse factory sheath. For some reason the original owner put an L on the back. I had a friend that makes furniture rounds the front edges of the handle slabs because those blocky E series handles were just uncomfortable to me. He did not use any heavy power tools to do it do there are no worries about the metal being ground... just the coating was blemished right at the edge of the handle scales. There are some blemishes in the coating in other places... I tried to get a picture of most of them. This knife is used but not abused. Mainly used for basic cutting chores (Wood, Rope, Cardboard)... It's never seen any hard use. It's in awesome shape. But it's not a safe queen. I also sent it in to Bill Siegle (who is a wizard with sharp edges) months ago to have him change the old assymetrical edge to a nice happy V grind and add a penetrator tip. I have two of these and they both got the same treatment... the one I'm keeping has been used A LOT since and let me tell you... that edge is no joke. Easy to sharpen and cuts all day long. Much better than the factory grind IMHO. This knife has not been used since coming home from Bill's shop. so it's razor sharp. It's .25" thick INFI and ready to see some action. It's not a mint collectors piece but it's a performer and ready to work. $475.00 Shipped. TRADE PENDING WITH BLACKMORE
The Only real Trades I'm considering right now are as follows
INFI blade in the 4" to 5" range... Mainly Badgers. They need to be 3/16ths thick or thicker. And depedning on their value or vintage a sheath would be nice... but I ain't gonna make a fuss about a sheath if a SHBA, BAIII, or even BA-E come along.Users are fine.
The large Busse Battle Mistress... I can't remember the name but I think it has like an 11" blade... It's like a NMFFBM or something. Users are fine.
I will also consider Strider folders with at least a 4" blade preferably drop or spear point. Users are fine.
Other than that... I only deal in large blades made of good steel. 12" plus blades. Not OAL but 12" blades or over. And Short Swords fit into this category.
