Thinning out my collection, before my wife would have to years from now.

I have collected a couple of certain blade styles - boot knives, and chute knife styles.

The chute knife came from Bob Loveless at the request of Harry Archer, who was an operative before they were known as such, as a multi-purpose survival style similar to the Air Force survival knife. They usually have a 4-5" blade, a double guard, and a thong hole. The boot style is usually a double edge shape, sometimes both sides sharpened, sometimes not.

#1 & 2 are by R.A. Rotella of Niagara Falls, NY. Made of ATS-34. #1 is a Chute Knife, 4 1/2" blade highly polished, with a nickel silver double guard, a full tapered tang, red liners, and a dark green/black Micarta handles, stainless bolts, and stainless thong hole. $300.00. #2 is a Loveless-style fighter, 5" blade highly polished, with a sharpened top edge. Nickel silver double guard, full tapered tang, red liners, and olive Micarta handles, stainless bolts and thong hole. $300.00. Both come with heavy leather sheaths from the maker, waxed finish. Take both for $550.00.

#3 is an A.G. Russell Shopmade Chute knife in 154 CM, a stick tang and contoured black Micarta handle with red and silver spacers. Nickel silver double guard, drilled through so it could be tied to a pole to use as a fishing spear. 4 7/8" blade. Comes with a nice leather sheath. These are no longer available. $250.00.

#4 is a Chute Knife made by Mark Hazen, back before he closed his shop. He has since re-opened, but does not make this style. The blade is 154 CM, highly polished, with red liners and a desert ironwood handles. Nickel silver double guard and thong hole. Comes with a leather sheath. $300.00.

#5 is a Morseth boot or sleeve knife. These were sold through A.G. Russell, many made by Bob Dozier for A.G. out of the famous Morseth laminated steel. Black Micarta handle with a minimal nickel silver double guard. Some owner before me had their last name nicely engraved in block letters on one side of the blade. A minimal leather sheath with velcro on one side - the idea being that you would sew or glue the other side of velcro where you wanted to hide the knife. $200.00.

#6 is a small double edge boot knife by Mike Irie, the former son-in-law of famed maker Barry Wood. Mike made a limited run of the Sport 500 collection, of knives with different blade shapes. Very nice stag handle. Comes with a leather sheath with snap over flap and a belt clip. $175.00.

Pictures to those interested.

My offer is withdrawn. I am no longer interested in the Irie. Good luck with your sale.
