This beautiful blade was made in the Philippines by an awesome custom maker (who's name I've forgotten 20 years later) that I picked up while I was living there as a kid. This isn't one of those late night shopping network blades. It's made from stainless steel, which was almost unheard of back then, over there with the overabundance of spring steel and the expense of stainless. Solid brass guard and pommel cap, copper wrap at the base of the blade, wood handle and scabbard underneath the wrap (I've forgotten all the technical Japanese names as well). I'm looking to get $175 OBO (USPS Money Order ships immediately, personal check must clear my bank first, NO PAYPAL). The brass is a bit dull, and the copper is tarnishing a bit as well. It could easily made to sparkle with some powder dish-washing detergent or metal polishers. It is 20 years old, so I've left it as-is. The blade is has an edge, but it's not incredibly sharp. Again, I've left it as-is, so you can do with as you please. It would make either a great display piece, or fully functional live blade. Any other questions, feel free to ask. I apologize, in advance, about the picture quality. It doesn't do the blade justice. My cell phone is all I have atm, but I can borrow a camera if needed (if requesting pictures, indicate what specifically you would like to see and also please allow a day or two for me to get hold of a real camera).

Only trade I'm likely to make is for a quality red dot sight (obviously have some cash to add).
