I am the second owner of this mini Cqc-8. The handles have been buffed and polished by the previous owner. If you don't like how grippy Emerson's are then you will love the feel of this one. The centering is great and the lockup is right around 50. There is a little wear on the handles and the screws for the pocket clip. There is no up and down play but there is a little bit of up and down when you really crank on the blade. I believe it has something to do with the stop pin. I don't see this being a problem though and have heard of many cases where this has occurred in other Emerson's. the tip is a little blunted. Other than that this knife will make a great user. I'm looking to get $100 dollars for it. Also looking at trades for 3-3 1/2 inch folders. I do not have the box.
