What sort of condition are the rechargeables in on the MURS used radios? Do they still hold a charge for a few days? You're pricing isn't that far off of a new unit with warranty, - http://www.absoluteautomation.com/dakotaalert/handheld/ - so just asking.

The units have only been charged twice with their stock batteries; the first time when I opened them for testing, and the second time before I took the pictures for the listing. Turning on the units displays all 3 bars on the battery indicator, and this is with normal/stock NiMH batteries that it comes with. These can also be replaced with LDS NiHM batteries, such as Eneloops or Tenergy.
