Hello,
in the course of selling knives that do not get used I am offering a GEC Northfield #38 Grinling Whittler with burned stag handle. I bought the knife new from a vendor in UK. I intended to use it for whittling, but when I got to it, it turned out that I prefer other tools for the job. I really like the spit-spring design (makes the knive very thin for a 3 blade knife) and will miss playing with it. The stag is really awesome.
Condition of the knife:
Please read this part carefully. The knife is NEW, but it has several tiny and one easily visible (on the right side of the main blade) black spot on the blade. These were there when I was buying the knife and I was made aware of this fact by the seller and got a discount. There are also a few very light scratches from opening and closing the blades. The blades actually do not touch normally, but if you are not careful when opening them, than you may press one towards the other and scratch it in the process. Mechanically the knife is 100% sound. In other words - this is a knife for a user, but not for a collector. After the knife was photographed it was oiled with camellia oil. Please see the photos for the actual condition of the knife.
Price and shipping:
The knife will be shipped from Germany. The price below includes insured shipping with tracking and PayPal fees. I have sold many items (mostly photo stuff) worldwide and take great care in packing the items so that they arrive unharmed.
EU: 110
Worldwide: $130
Please no trades.
Conditions of the sale:
Whoever first answers "I'll take it" and follows up with a PM gets the knife. I expect payment within 48 hours after the sale was agreed and data were exchanged. If something causes a delay just let me know.
After sale:
I stand behind the items I sell - should anything be other than you expected once you receive the item just let me know and we will sort it out. I will appreciate if you can let me know once the item arrived.
Now onto the photos: If you click on these you can access much larger version on my Flick account.
