Gryphon Knives M30-A1
Terzuola designed Gryphon M30-A1 made in Seki City Japan from ATS-34 (59-60HC, individually tested) with UV-stabilized zytel handle. Knife was carried a bunch, but only used for cutting open mail. Original factory edge is razor sharp. The edge and blade grinds are beautiful on this knife, don't think they could be closer to perfect. Some light finish wear on the blade and some wear on the knurling on the handle, but no dings or dents or scratches. The sheath is a River City Drawpoint, has perfect retention and is very easy to carry. Includes a Spyderco G-Clip. If you've never used one of Mike Sastre's sheaths, they are the best kydex available.
SOLD Strider HT-S
Blade is CPM-D2 steel, which I had no experience with previously but have found to be strong with excellent edge retention and zero staining. Knife has been used and sharpened. I re-wrapped the handles (very clean and tight job, just like the factory wrap) with USA made urban digital camo paracord. It fits the factory kydex sheath perfectly. The serrations were sharpened, they cut much better now. The back of the blade ('clip' portion and flat sections between serrations) is missing the tigerstripe finish. The 'clip' portion is not sharpened, similar to factory setup. Cutting edge was sharpened to 40 degrees inclusive on a Wicked Edge sharpener, cuts very well and the CPM-D2 has proven very stable at this angle. WILL NOT SHIP TO ANY STATE WHERE DOUBLE EDGED KNIFE LEGALITY IS QUESTIONABLE.
