I have a Half Face Blades Widowmaker that I never carried. Pulled it out a few times to show to people.

The sheath has a minor slit at the bottom due to tip of knife coming out. (Very sharp knife.)

Hi Kai,
Your Priority Mail small flat rate box arrived today; however, the contents [the HFB Widowmaker] was missing and the box was completely empty. The box had not been taped closed and it appears either that someone had pried one end open and removed the knife or (unlikely) it had come out during shipment. The bottom line is: box arrived, knife didn't. Please advise. Thanks. Larry

Very sorry to hear this, I will head to the post office first thing this morning and see what to do. Never had anything like this happen, will find out next steps and inform you.

I went to the USPS and as of 4:00pm mountain time, the package is still not labeled as delivered and they can do nothing until it is marked as delivered.
 
Sorry to be a voyeur here, but I search for HFBs periodically and can't help but wonder if you ever found the knife or got a favorable refund from USPS?
 
As of now, I have been denied insurance payment from USPS. They are stating that a receipt from Paypal sales is not sufficient evidence of value. Paypal has taken the money back and charged me the fee of payment............. This is just a shit show....
 
Ugh. I’m so sorry man. I had a lost USPS package on a sale on another forum and had to eat it. It was a much less valuable item, so it could be worse. I try to do UPS or FedEx, but it is significantly more expensive and it makes a deal much harder.
