JK Kephart, I do not recall the steal but the slabs are Oak- I used fine sandpaper to slightly radius the edges of the slabs to give a nice countoured grip, used alinseed oil to seal them. Knife saw a little light kitchen use(I don't get out much anymore and have beaters for the trail). Blade is .120 thick, 1.23 edge to spine, 4.84 slab to tip, handle is 4.60 long and .80 thick. 100.00 USPS money order or PayPal- price is delivered/insured CONUS.
