Greetings all,
Like most of us on here, really liking what Koonsie customs is putting out these days. I managed to locate/obtain one of his Rhino's I was after, so I letting this excellent Battle Boss go to a good home. This is a big ol' chunk of ~7 1/2" x .25" W2 awesomeness with a blackened/acid wash type finish. Nice knapping on the spine. Black handle scales with blue liners and matching grommets on the sheath really make it pop. I added a matching blue lanyard. Excellent overall condition. Normally, new these go in the $350 range.
To go with the Koonsie, I'm adding another unique blade. It's a sterile, imported 440C Tanto featuring buffalo scale handles. It's kind of a cool combination of rustic and Japanese traditional. Blade is in a little under 5" to the tanto tip. It does have a slight recurve to the primary edge, and an unsharpened swedge. It is about 3/16" of an inch thick. Brass fittings. There's a little bit of handling wear to the scales as shown in the photos. It came with a soft, basic traditional LH sheath. So I took it to a local cobbler and he put together a usable RH sheath with brass fittings that actually compliments/matches the knife fairly well. So in other words, what you see is what you get.
Not a bad little knife, just doesn't fill a need for me.
For the Labor Day weekend, I'm asking $405 $395$Trade Pending for BOTH knives
shipped USPS Priority w/ insurance and tracking number.
As per usual, I offer a 24 hr. no use/no mod/no disassembly inspection period.
Mostly looking for cash on this one, but tradewise, a few possible interests include an Sebenza 25, Emerson Journeyman or CQC8, SwampRat RMD, DPx HEST MilSpec 6, entry level recurve bow, or possibly a good condition Suunto Core Military.
**Some cash might change hands depending on what you've got.**
Standard Operating Procedures, Please Read:
1. Any trade offer must be in excellent++/LNIB condition. **If you've done any home mods, I'm probably not interested.**
2. Any traded knife mailed to me must be PROPERLY packaged. That means a proper-sized BOX, bubble wrap, and packing materials. I'm getting tired of receiving knives with what appears to be a grand total of about 15 seconds of packing effort
3. If you don't have anything I'm looking for in trade and/or are interested in purchasing and/or have a counter-offer, please do NOT ask me what I'll take for it--email/pm me an offer. Do your research...Low-ballers will be ignored. :thumbdn:
4. Please do not waste my time. If you say 'Deal,' I expect you to honor your commitment. Have your financials in order before making offers!!!!.
5. No, generally speaking, my prices aren't 'flipper/pseudo dealer/profiteer' friendly.
The usuals: USA only, must be 21 years old, payment as specified above. I reserve the right to withdraw at any time, reject any/all offers, with or without selling/trading, trade/sell to who I want with or without explanation, etc etc etc.
May be listed elsewhere as well.
Email or PM with any questions.
Thanks for looking.
