How internally consistent are the maker marks? Are there a bunch of different manufacturers parts? Any idea if the Springfield are all Springfield?

It’s a lot of mixed and matched. If they were all original they wouldn’t be $1300-1500. If you are serious about one I can tear some down more and check on specifics.

The big gun magazine publications have all had major articles in the last few months on the various values, if you are the time y can pm me and I will copy them for you.
I think generally you are in the right ballpark, but I hate to see some rare parts fade into anonymity if there is anything special about any you have, not just for your sake but because the m1 are important parts of history.

I'm a FAL guy, so I don't have the desire to get too deep into it but if you want to look deeper pm me..
