wts:Matt Lamey fixed blade.

Beautiful brass-pinned walnut scales, 5 3/8" cutting edge, a hair under 10" OAL.

The full-tang, 1/8" thick and 1 3/8" wide blade is carbon-steel....1080 I believe.....clay-hardened, ground extra-thin and scalpel-sharp.

Has been lovingly used in the kitchen.

Comes with heavy duty custom leather sheath.

Excuse me if I am out of line but, I'm the one that originally got this knife from Matt, used it in the kitchen for a number of years and eventually sold it to my buddy Ford who also put it to good use.

I beleive it's 1095 but it is clay-hardened with beautiful walnut scales and basically a zero-edge....very little secondary-bevel.

I'm tempted to buy it back....it didn't come with that fine sheath, either. :)

I remember that one, think i made it when i was in California. I tested it out in my kitchen for a few days, and it was a very usefull shape/size for most tasks.
