REALLY nice slicer! I do not remember the steel but the slabs are Cherry and bins are brass. Steel is .060 thick, width of grip is .885, blade is 3.60" from slabs to tip, handle is 4.95" long. Really comfortable. No sheath, knife saw light kitchen duty. There is a drying crack in one slab, it was there when I bought it and has not changed. 100.00 USPS money order or PayPal.
