REPOST AND PRICE DROP! Unfortunately due to a shift in my hobby priorities and the need to free up some cash as a result, I’m looking to sell my grail blade. I have been a big fan of Chris Adelhardt’s (Pariah Knives) work for years and managed to snag this tanto a while back. He’s an absolute artist and is the real deal when it comes to custom blades. This tanto has a genuine clay hamon, the collar is damascus under a nickel & silver tsuba, and the menuki is silver. The ito is synthetic over polished ray skin covering the handle. The sheath is leather with polished ray skin as shown. While this is remarkably sharp (Chris’s grinds are legendary after all) I’ve never cut with it. I wanted to use it as he makes his blades to be functional but it’s simply too gorgeous and I couldn’t make myself cut with it. Truly custom work from one of the best in the business.
