Alright guys, putting my Hinderer up for sale to fund an antique revolver... I'm gonna miss it, but I can't justify owning two when I could have another nice Webley.

Got this one as "like new, carried once, cut nothing" and I've carried it a couple times but I like my other one which is the one with the steel flame stuff in it. So this one came to the office a few times with me, opened some envelopes with it and cut some packing tape to tape up a package. That's about it.

4th generation XM-18 with a Slicer Flipper blade in S35VN super steel. In case you don't knew, this steel was purpose designed with the help of Chris Reeve among other custom knife makers, for high performance use on knives. It is amazing steel. This knife has a sickly sharp, perfectly shaped edge on it.

Comes with the black scale I got with it plus a bonus black/blue scale.

I can't see a scratch or mark on it. Box got eaten by the dog, so knife will come boxed and packaged very safely and properly. Asking what I paid for it - 680 CAD shipped to Canada, insured to $100CAD - / $660 CAD local pickup / $620 USD shipped to USA - extra insurance is on you if you want it. ---- $$$SOLD/FUNDS RECEIVED - TO ALLIGATOR, ITEM SENT*** ----

Also have the following:

Zero tolerance ZT0780 with black DLC coated S30V blade. Unused uncarried (can't recall if it was used by the PO but I'm pretty certain it wasn't). Opened the box, looked it over and decided I likely won't end up carrying it much for fear of scratching up the coating - don't want to sell it, but if someone else is going to use it more, great. if it doesn't sell it will just become a user...don't make me turn it into a user! Comes with box. 180 CAD shipped in Canada / 165 CAD local / 165USD shipped to USA

Zero Tolerance ZT0550 - customized with acid etched blade. Does have *very* minor play in the detent when it is closed. Does not affect using the knife or opening it, but it's there if you pull on the blade but not open it. you can feel it moves slightly at the detent. Could likely be fixed by someone with some time and some metal epoxy or a quick tig weld, but i just don't care enough as the knife works fine as is. Asking 85 CAD shipped to Canada / 75 local pickup / 70 USD PLUS SHIPPING to the USA -- $$$ SOLD $$$

Carbon Fibre Scale for the ZT0550 - 45 CAD SHIPPED IN CANADA -- SOLD FUNDS RECIEVED, ITEM SENT

Zero tolerance ZT0300BW this one is marked as a blemish knife but I can't see or feel a single problem with it. It is perfect to my eyes. This is assisted but the torsion bar can easily be removed if you wish. Have spare pivot hardware in case it gets scratches up but what is on there is just fine. Got it in case. This is a 350 dollar knife, asking 165 CAD shipped in Canada / 155 CAD local / 155 USD shipped to USA

Zero tolerance ZT0561. This is the best ZT knife out three in my opinion. Very similar to the XM-24 which it was based on, but has the ball bearing pivot system and a stronger decent to allow you to flip it better - Far and away the best flipper I've ever owned. Elmax blade steel with a Slicer-esque grind shape. Asking 220 CAD shipped to Canada / 205 local pickup / 200 USD plus shipping to USA

Zero Tolerance ZT0350 - assisted opening S30V plain edge black coated blade. I have two of these, one is a light user, one is like new, carried twice or three times, cut some envelopes, but looks like new. Only marks on it are the stropping marks near the edge which will happen with any coated knife that is stropped. Looks fine and works fine, knife itself though is not in a "used" condition so much as it is in a "sharpened" condition. Please ask for pics on this as i don't want any confusion about it - the knife is not NEW in box, but it is what i would call LIKE NEW but SHARPENED and STROPPED. For the user asking 85 CAD shipped to Canada / 75 local pickup / 70 PLUS SHIPPING TO USA. For the like new one asking 105 CAD shipped to canada / 95 CAD local pickup / 90 USD PLUS SHIPPING

Benchmade 860 Bedlam with 154CM satin blade. As new with box. One very small mark on spine which was there from factory, can't tell unless you really really look. With box. Asking 120 CAD shipped to Canada / 110 CAD local pickup / 100 USD PLUS SHIPPING to USA -- $$$SOLD FUNDS RECEIVED, ITEM SENT$$$

Benchmade 950 Rift that is like new with box. Carried to work once opened a couple piece of mail and put it in the safe. Beautiful knife but it doesn't get enough pocket time. 154CM blade. Asking 150 CAD shipped / 140 CAD local / 140 USD shipped to USA

Benchmade Contego with a DLC coated partially serrated CPM-M4 blade. Very nice knife, I personally love it. Minor scratches on the blade coating, nothing that can't be fixed by removing all the coating (easy enough on these knives to achieve a nice satin or polish finish) otherwise perfect. Should have box for this one. Asking 155 CAD shipped to Canada / 145 CAD local / 140 USD plus shipping to USA

CRKT M21-14SF - AUS8 steel, aluminum handles, Auto-LAWKS system. The blade has been stripped and acid etched, i think it looks awesome. Just decided i can't keep everything though so it's going too. Email for pics of it. This is the dual flipper model. Asking $70 CAD shipped in Canada / 60 local pickup / 55 USD PLUS SHIPPING to USA

CRKT KISS Assist - light user, great condition, razor sharp - $55 CAD shipped to Canada / $45 local pickup / $40 USD PLUS SHIPPING USA

CRKT KISS 5500 satin tanto - 25 CAD PLUS SHIPPING - SOLD FUNDS RECEIVED, ITEM SENT

CRKT Mini My Tighe - user, good shape, some scratches and use marks - $50 CAD shipped to Canada / 40 local pickup / 35 USD PLUS SHIPPING TO USA

CRKT My Tighe - user like above, same condition - $55 CAD shipped to canada / 45 Local pickup / 40 USD PLUS SHIPPING to USA

CRKT NECK - used, decent shape, scratches etc - $40 CAD shipped to canada / 35 local pickup / 30 USD PLUS SHIPPING to USA

CRKT Dogfish - lightly used, not much though, very close to "like new" - $35 CAD shipped to canada / 30 local pickup / 25 USD PLUS SHIPPING TO USA

Kershaw G&G Hawk - used, decent shape but a couple small dings on handle and blade coating is a little scratched. Action works great though - $80 CAD shipped to canada / 70 CAD local pickup / 65 USD PLUS SHIPPING TO USA

SOG Vulcan w/ plain VG-10 blade, lightly used, great shape though, no major scratches, handles in great shape - 85 CAD shipped to canada / 75 local pickup / 70 USD PLUS SHIPPING TO USA

First I'll take it gets it. Timestamp will apply as these are on other forums. Prices in Canadian dollars and if it says shipped that is with express post shipping within princess. Extra for other places. If you want extra insurance above what comes with express post that is your choice your dollar. All knives will be packaged safely and securely, in origins box if I have it otherwise a suitable box not just a padded envelope (yes guys do this!). EMT is king in Canada, PayPal is the red headed stepchild who is grudgingly accepted but not happily. PayPal fees are extra, prices are net to me.

If you're in the states, of course Paypal is the preferred, and really, the only accepted method of payment, unless you have a way to send me an EMT from a Canadian bank.

I am located in Calgary, Alberta and can meet anyone locally to show/sell any of the knives. Please don't waste my time to just look and leave, only meet up if you are really interested in buying something.

If my prices are too high, feel free to send me offers, but i think most of them are pretty decent. I'm always open to critisism though if it's warranted.

All knives have photos taken of them, but are on my phone. Can't post them ask easily so email or PM if you want to see them (they are the same as the others if the same model out by there.....)

Finally, ALL knives that are listed/priced WITH shipping included will include the STANDARD insurance amount (i think it's 100 dollars) and if you'd like me to add on more insurance, that will be covered by you. If something happens and it doesn't show up (tracking is included in most of the shipping costs) I will gladly open the claim, but will not cover more than what it was insured for. Having said that, i've not lost or had a knife lost in shipping, nor any other item, since i started buying and selling things online years and years ago (knock on wood). If the shipped price is listed as being LESS than $50 Canadian, the shipping price is for non-tracked air mail. If you want tracking, ask me and we'll work something out. I just don't think it's worth it for an item that is so inexpensive, but if you want it, we can work something out.

Thanks for looking!

If the XM has a strong detent and flips no problem pointing straight up I want it. I've only seen a few 4th gens with the laser etching on the blade that do. Maybe it does not have the laser etching. Please let me know. Thank you.

I personally wouldn't call the detent "strong" like it is on the ZT0561... it's decent though. If the knife is pointing straight up, i can definitely get it to flip, but it's never going to flip like the ZT0561 or other similar flippers that are purpose built to whip open at mach 3. It's defintely got a stronger detend than my Gen3 hinderer... that one i can flip pointing up most of the time, but there are definitely times that it doesn't make it all the way - the one thats for sale, unless i do something wrong, it opens. But again, not nearly with the force that the 561 does. If you really are interested in it, i can maybe take a video when i get home and show you it. But please let me know as i don't want to spend the time on it if it doesn't sound like it's what you want.

Oh and it is definitely etched and S35VN. From what i know, most if not all S35VN blades on the 4th gen knives ARE etched, as i remember Rob saying that if they are not etched/marked then they are generally the Duratec 20CV steel... maybe i'm mixing up the generations though. But this one is laser marked and S35VN.

I definitely am interested. I have that same knife in the spanto grind. I had to enlarge the detent hole to 1/16". I do not know if you would have any drill bits but a good way to tell if it has the stronger detent is to stick the back end if a 1/16" bit in the detent hole. If it fits in great. it sounds like it does have a fairly strong detent according to what you have said. I realize that I will never see a Hinderer that is as good a flipper as the 0560 but I would like to have one in the slicer grind that does not require whole lot of special technique to fire it out. I realize that it is more the push button type but do you really have to preload your finger in order to get it to work, do you have to push up in and then pulled back quickly? Or can you just push straight in? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean with the push up and in thing? do you mean using the thumb stud? With the thumb stud it fires open beautifully, probably one of my favorite to open that way. I'd actually prefer them not to have a flipper, just because they put the stud in just the right spot and with just the right shape, that i love to use the stud to open it. Having said that, with the flipper, i just usually flip down with my finger on it. I will check the hole today when i get home and get back to you on that though. I don't want to misrepresent the knife in any way, so i'll verify what your asking before we go any further, if you don't mind. It's a fair chunk of change to spend on something and risk not being happy with it, if you know what i mean. Email me if you could though, and we can finish this there? Thanks so much. Email is kprice at tridyne dot ca

Yup it is.... email me if you are interested or want pics of it. Just looked it over for another guy who was thinking about buying it to de-assist it but decided against it. Wasn't sure how well it would work deassisted, and to be honest, i don't know either. i'm not really willing to carry it for a couple days to try it - i did deassist it and it seemed to be alright, but the blade is pretty big and heavy compared to most manual folders. it does come out with force if you flip it out right though.

with the assist mechanism in place though, it's an awesome knife. i'm really torn on selling it, but i do need the cash so if you want it it's yours
