The Naval Bronze Series knives have a totally unique feel. Using C 932 bronze from the Philadelphia ship yards that will age, patina, and change over time.

The Frame: This knife has the solid bronze scale that has a machine pocket that Duane inlaid an epoxy with aluminum oxide embedded it. As Duane says: "It ain't F&$KING grip tape and it ain't coming off!" These bronze SMF's have a totally unique feel with a solid heft and bank vault feel. "Open" configuration (rather than integrated backspaced on "normal" SMF's) with satin bronze titanium standoffs.

The Blade: Beautiful, hollow chisel ground, slight recurve with tip bevel. It really blurs the lines between spear point and tanto with a Lum inspired tip. Also, check out that upper grind that gives the tip a bit more point. It also has a smooth spine (rather than the normal jimping). Whether as a user or a safe queen, this is one bitchin SMF!

About CTS 204P: CTS 204P is a high alloy steel that is similar to DuraTech 20CV, Bohler M390. It is a highly alloyed material that lends itself to very high wear resistance. Plus, due to the high chromium content is extremely corrosion resistant. Its toughness is on par with properly heat treated CPM S30V.

Like New, never carried or used. $1200 Shipped.
