Price: Was -> $175.00/shipped. Now ->$170.00/shipped.

I have for sale a Scrap Yard Yard Keeper LE. The knife is as-new as I received it from another forum member. It comes with the cardboard sheath as shown in the image below. The price is $175.00/shipped. I ship USPS Priority Mail which includes Delivery Confirmation. Acceptable forms of payment are USPS Money Order, PayPal or GearPay. In addition, there would be no additional fees expected for either PayPal or GearPay.

The first "I'll Take It" gets it. Also, the shipped price is for the lower 48 states of the continental United States. I will ship internationally or to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories. The knife must be legal for you to receive but shipping would be extra. No trades at this time as I am looking to offset the price of one of the new Game Wardens in the Busse Company Store. Email or PM me if additional images are needed.

Returns: The knife would have to be shipped back within 3 days. For a refund, it must be received in the same condition it was shipped. The buyer pays return shipping.

International shipping: As mentioned, this is not an issue. I consider $5.00 of the above listed price to account for shipping. To that end, I will calculate international shipping plus insurance and then subtract $5.00 so as to credit the buyer with the shipping already considered in the domestic sales price.

Right of refusal: I reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone. I will exercise this if I am asked to do anything that would, or could, be considered unethical or illegal, at home or abroad.

Thank you for looking and lets make this a quick sale. A new thread was created because I foolishly put an amount in the subject line.

Hi.
I like the knife.
Can you take a closer picture of the blade only? ( I'd like to figure out how much new it was when you received it )
If you can't post it, send me a PM, I'll give you my email address.
Thank you.
Stefano.

Please understand that these were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 2.0 megapixel camera. I am not sure I can get any better shots without getting a new camera. Which, by the way is not happening anytime soon.

Also, I cleaned the blade off with alcohol and then wiped it down with Ballistol to get rid of any streaks or smudges but from the images it would appear there are still a few. There also appears to be three very faint scratches on the sterile side of the blade. One is very small and the other two are in line with each other that are .5 cm and 1.5 cm, respectively. They are so faint that they do not appear in the image.

I hope this answers your questions.

Goeman1973,
So we are clear, I would need cleared funds in my checking account before the knife would ship. This is due to you low post count and the distance involved in shipping. I has nothing to do with shipping overseas as I have shipped knives to the UK, France, Italy, Russia, Thailand and the Czech Republic. I will be amending my original post, as well.

I was thinking I may be able to get better images tomorrow when the sun comes up. Thanks for looking.

Regards,
willm

jeff4423,
I will see if I can dig up a link at Scrap Yard Knives.

I cannot find a description of it at Scrap Yard. I do, however, have the image of the knife from the ad I purchased it from. It is better quality and I can email that to anyone interested.

The package was delivered to the post office on March 26th as indicated. I am not surprised that the USPS has not updated their website as that seems to move slower than the box. Also, Priority Mail International is usually at least a week for delivery to Europe and sometimes can be longer. I will keep checking their website.

Did you receive my refund from overestimating shipping?
