Hi Guys,
Cleaning out the safe continues!! I have for sale a hard to find, legendary Sig Sauer P229 in .40 cal with a "AE" date code which places it in 1995-1996 range, which makes perfect sense since I acquired it in the Summer-ish 1996. Frame marked "Frame made in Germany". I believe that newer Sig's, especially 229's are made in the USA.
This model is Sig's Nitron coating over stainless DA/SA with de-cocking lever. It has lived its life in a safe slathered in TW-25 lube recommended by Sig, has never been carried and has approximately 200 factory loads fired. It has not been fired in approximately 10 years and has never experienced a FTF or FTE. I would grade very conservatively at 90%-95%++ due to a few very small blemishes on the finish in a couple tiny areas. It has a little left-over "rubber goop" from a slip on Hogue hand-all on the grip a long time ago (you can remove that with a little WD-40). This pistol looks much better than my mediocre photography skills can muster.
This is an OUTSTANDING SPECIMEN for a Sig collector or the "ANTI-Polymer Crowd"
Included in the deal:
I have the original hard case and owners manual.
I have a total of five (5) magazines included:
(2) factory 10 round Sig "zipperback" mags that came with gun originally (marked Made in Germany)
(1) factory 12 round Sig "zipperback" mag that was purchased during the Assualt Weapons Ban LOL "made in Germany"
(2) 12 rounds Sig mags (unused in wrapper) "marked made in Italy"
Buy with confidence!! I have 100% positive feedback on almost 50 transactions. I pride myself on communication, speed and a honest clean deal!!!
I am asking $625----->Price Drop $600---->$550 for the package including shipping to your FFL.
(for a FTF I am located in South Florida and will drive 50 miles to meet you)
