For Sale: All are LNIB or very close, with all the original packaging.
1) Spyderco Caly 3.5 ZDP/CF -- this is the upgraded Caly 3.5, with carbon fiber instead of G-10, and ZDP-189 blade steel. Extremely high 3% carbon and 20% chromium levels allow this Japanese super-steel to perform at a working Rockwell Hc of between 63 and 67. In order to push the Caly's ZDP blade to the upper limits between 65-67, Spyderco did something they didn't do for any of the other ZDP models. Using 420J2, a softer and very corrosion resistant stainless steel, they employed the San Mai III blade structure first used for Samurai swords, wrapping a layer of 420J2 over the spine as if putting a saddle on a horse, allowing the ZDP core to provide a razor-sharp cutting edge with excellent retention, while the sides and spine are reinforced by a tougher, more flexible steel, countering any brittleness that such a hardness can cause during hard use.
I'll let it go for $SOLDCAD, including shipping. This is quite a bit cheaper than you'll find it anywhere retail. Amazon.com is selling it for 205$ CAD + shipping/duty, and Amazon.ca is selling it for 250$ CAD, + taxes, etc. If you to combine items, I'll give you an even better deal. If you're interested, and you've got another price you think is fair, let me know, and I'll try to accommodate. That applies for all of them.
2) Benchmade Contego -- This was purchased several months ago, and carried less than a dozen times. I don't recall cutting anything with it except paper. Excellent condition, with box and papers. This is the CPM Rex M4 blade with DLC coating, a very high-tech, high-speed tool steel produced using Crucible's Particle Metallurgical process. High Carbon, with a high level of Tungsten, this is the steel that many competition cutters like Gayle Bradley choose above all else. This is a big knife, over 9 inches OAL with a blade just under 4 inches, but the Warren Osborne designed ergonomics make it very comfortable and quick in the hand... particularly with the speed that the AXIS-lock affords.
I'm selling it now for SOLD$ CAD, LNIB, shipping included.
