With the holidays coming up, I need to scrounge up some gift money so putting up for sale some Spydies I don't use/carry.
Chinooks are Sold!
Spyderco Chinook1 440V
Spyderco Chinook1 ComboEdge 440V
Spyderco Perrin PPT
First up, the Perrin PPT. Bought at a local gun store, but now that I have it I don't carry it so getting rid of it. Blade is unused, opened a few times and then put back in it's box. It came with a lanyard but I swapped that over to another knife, although if you want I can swap it back over. Comes with box and papers. Asking $160 shipped TYD. Also would trade for a NIB Gayle Bradley.
Picture time.
Box, papers, baggy and knife.
Lock-up is fine, around 50% and it hasn't moved for the short time I've had it.
Other side of the blade.
Box has a bit of wear and "day" written on it, dunno what it means.
Now on to the Chinooks.
Both Chinook's are CPM 440V steel, used with wear, although the plain edge still has factory edge, while the combo-edge has been sharpened. Plain edge as slight up and down play that is typical of lock-backs. Combo-edge has up and down and side-to-side play. I tried to fix the side-to-side play but it takes an Allen wrench that I don't have, I'm guessing a 2.5 since that's the only one of mine I can't find
The play isn't significant but is noticeable. Both still lock up solid as a rock though, I couldn't get either to close or even waver using my hands. Clips show wear, the combo-edge moreso than the plain. The plain edge has the right box but no papers or bag. Combo edge has no box or anything but will be sent in a Spydersaw box. I'd like to sell them as a set, $310 for both, or $200 for the plain edge $125 for the combo. Chinooks are SPF now Sold.
Both knives and the boxes they will ship in.
Tang stamps, both CPM 440V.
Centering is fine on both.
Closeups of the boxes. Left is plain edge, right is combo.
Clip on the combo-edge
Clip on the plain edge.
Now on to my disclaimers. Payment should be made through either USPS Money Order or Paypal. I will ship with USPS either the day of or the day after I receive payment. No trades. I'd prefer to keep this in the US as well, unless you are willing to add more for shipping costs (I can get a quote from the USPS if you want so we can figure out a fair price depending on where you are). By responding to this ad, you agree that you are over the age of 18 and can legally own the knife in question in your jurisdiction, I am not responsible for knowing or following the laws in your jurisdiction, that is on you. I have the right to halt and reverse any sale wherever it may be if I feel you are under the age of 18 (or for any other reason) and may require you to show ID if I have any concerns. Should this happen, I will refund your money immediately. The first unconditional "I'll take it" in this thread with a follow-up email will have priority. If you have any questions feel free to PM or email me. This thread is up on other sites so time stamps may have to be used.
