The police model has the stainless handle and is a plain edge, it is in new condition...being carried more than it was ever used. It has cut a few pieces of twine, so it is still factory sharp and comes with the box. The only blemishes are on the butt end of the handle from being clipped in the same pocket as my keys (very minor "hairline scratches")
