No trades please.
Streamlight TLR-VIR II with remote tape switch and regular toggle door.
Only used one night, approximately 200 rounds through it. Checked zero periodically and it held perfectly. I did add a drop of blue loctite (not permanent, medium strength) to the windage and elevation knobs just to make them snug.
Laser is adequate, it was easy to zero it to match my red dot looking at a structure that was 190 yds away and it has held true so far.
The IR Illuminator is what it is, very floody and great for shooting steel in the woods out to 55 yds, but no real throw if you’re out in the open. Would be fantastic on a PDW or CQB setup.
Bad footage here:
They don’t actually make a door for this model, so I followed a YouTube video to mod the old VIR I door by grinding off a couple of pieces so they fit and everything lays flush to the rail. Pretty easy and worked great.
Whole thing was over 500 with tax, yours for $360 ppff or Venmo
