Didn't think I'd end up doing this, but I just can't justify this guy right now.
Its a latest-gen Tan CC model with tiger-stripe finish on the blade and flame-treated Titanium frame-lock side (and flamed Ti clip). Its got the newest Hinderer Stop. I bought it brand new from Knife Art and I've had it about 2 weeks now. I opened it and closed it about a thousand times and then took it apart and cleaned it and then lubed it with Lucas Assembly Lube so it is now way smoother than it was from the factory.
Its adjusted to what I believe is the perfect tension with no blade-play and good lockup (over 50%), yet you can flick it open with your thumb. Blade centering is very close to center (its not near either scale, but its not perfectly in the center - maybe 45/55 to the G10 side). Its barely noticeable but I know its a concern to most Strider buyers so I was super sensitive to it when I got it - I'm fine with where the blade sits when closed.
The Tip sits just a hair in the lanyard hole, so if you use a Lanyard on your EDC knives, this is probably not the knife for you (I do not so it didn't bother me). Both thumb-studs / Blade-stop pins contact the frame/G10 side perfectly when its open (no gap on either side).
There are a few marks on the left side of the blade (it came from the factory that way - I've heard a couple of stories like this - they're not super noticeable, but they're there).
I've not cut anything with this blade yet other than paper to show it off - it is factory-sharp from Strider.
I'm including a Spanner Bit Deluxe tool (fits in any 1/4" shank) from PSD Products so you can adjust the tension to your hearts desire. The Spanner Bit tool has tip with a T10 Torx on it to unscrew the scales should you desire (this also keeps the spanner centered and ensures that you don't slip out of the Spanner grooves).
$430 for the knife and Spanner tool shipped to your door insured w/delivery confirmation anywhere in CONUS
