I have a Battle rat with the black coated blade and through tempered. It comes with a sheath for the Ranger RD-9. It is a cordura sheath with a pocket for stone or folding knife.
It has only seen a bit of use. A few branches have been cut, just enough to smooth the finish on the coating in the sweet spot but not enough to remove any coating. The handle is tan so this is a nice black and tan piece. The handle looks new.
$215 without sheath, $235 with sheath.
