Ok. For sale is a Microtech Ultratech dagger edge, previously black, s30v blade. The story is.. I bought LNIB, sat on it for a couple months, waited till I got what I considered skilled on my wicked edge, then tried to sharpen. (It was dull as a letter opener IMHO) Found out the dagger edge is really, really hard to sharpen. The blade rocked during the process and scuffed most the angle on the blade. (See 1st pic) so from here I took 1000 grit to the entire blade to blend the scuffs and give it a distressed appearance. It looks pretty cool in my opinion but I don't want any disappointments so please assume it doesn't look good.
Cliffs
- blade is sharpened and isn't anywhere near mint (but is quite sharp)
- handle is close to mint (carried 1 time)
- knife functions perfectly
- includes sheath and box, but not microtech sleeve for box
